Does the Mom’s Up device have a camera or microphone? No, Mom’s Up uses only motion detector technology, giving your loved one privacy.

What if it is unplugged or the power goes off? The Mom’s Up unit will automatically restart when it is plugged back in.

Will Mom’s Up detect a pet? Yes, it will, but if your loved one has a pet, just be sure to place it in an outlet that the pet does not walk by. For example, an outlet that is higher up on a wall or above a counter where the pet is out of line of sight.

Is there an app to configure or monitor?No app. Just use your phone to select the WiFi, password, text time and and numbers. No app to install or keep updating.

Do we need wifi to use Mom’s Up? Yes, the residence the Mom’s Up device will be used in will need wifi to send the alert. It does not need to be high-speed.
